General repairs of CNC controlled machines:

Our company offers complex general repairs of CNC machines based on customer requirements. General repair of CNC machine consists in the overall repair of the mechanical part of the machine and the complete replacement of the electrical part, control system, electric drives and digital measuring included. General repair is often connected with a partial change of the machine concept with the objective of the machine capacity properties improvement. This change lies in addition of electric drives of separately controlled axes, in the method change of transfer of the driving force from an actuating motor to frame-shift mechanism in order to achieve zero-clearance connection, etc.

All by-us-upgraded machines reach accuracy of new machines. The standard hand-over certificate is completed with results of measurement of circular interpolation; we also offer laser calibration of the positioning and geometry deviation measurement as an extra service. For measurement of machines Renishaw Company’s instruments, i.e. QC 10 Ballbar probe and ML 10 laser inferometer are used by our company.

General repair of a machine can be offered to the customer in three forms :

• the customer owns the machine, the general repair of which they require. The machine is transported to our workshop, in which the machine is fully repaired and commissioned. The customer will carry out the machine takeover in our workshop considering the performed repair accomplishment and functionality of the machine as a whole. The machine is subsequently transported to the customer’s premises, where all alignment and commissioning of the machine is carried out, operators and maintenance staff training included.
• The customer requires delivery of the machine following its key-ready general repair. In this case our company shall provide the required CNC type of the machine. The company shall carry out its general repair and deliver the machine to the customer as a unit.
• the customer owns the machine to be the subject of general repair. Yet, they require only minimum downtime of the machine and associated production cut-off. In this case our company is able to offer execution of the general repair using so-called replacement method. The required type of the machine shall be provided, the general repair of this machine will be performed and only then it will be installed in the customer’s premises. The customer can continue production on their machine for the whole period of the other machine general repair performance and the production cut-off will be limited to the period necessary for disassembly of the old machine and assembly and commissioning of the new one.

Modernization of CNC controlled machines :

Our customers often ask for repair or replacement of components participating in machine control and regulation, which can no longer be performed due to given components being too obsolete. On the basis of the above mentioned experience the customer faces a dilemma, whether and how to sort out the issue around the existing machinery, since its functionality is dependent on the given irreparable control component. In such case our company offers the customer a new approach to the existing issue, i.e. overall upgrade of the given equipment as a whole following review of all possibilities.

What is the modernization of the machine?

Under machine modernization an intervention in the machinery control system via replacement of an obsolete and defective control system by a new one coming from the current production range of renowned manufacturers is understood. ( SIEMENS, HEIDENHAIN, MEFI, FANUC ). The final goal is to create a modern control of a machine, which will provide reliable operation of the equipment from long-term perspective with the possibility of spare parts provision, if required and to provide simple and operator-friendly control of the equipment given as well as to achieve better productivity and technological options of the equipment thus leading to lower power consumption and reduced maintenance requirements. These attributes are our rule for new control concept. The overall modernization is carried out via key-ready system either directly in the customer’s premises or by transporting the whole equipment to our premises so that the upgrade is carried out there. The final phase of such upgrade is the whole equipment commissioning in customer’s premises, precisely following their specific conditions and connected with training of operators and maintenance staff.
